Canon organized a whole-day affair to celebrate the Philippine release of over 30 products in their line, including the much awaited EOS 5D, 50D and 1000D. I got some shots and price list below: The Canon EOS 5D Mark II came out sometime last week -- boasts of a 21.1 megapixel full-frame 35mm CMOS sensor, DIGIC IV. The Canon EOS 50D on the other hand was first announced last August (see specs here) -- has a 15.1 megapixel sensor and an ISO of up to 12800. Those looking into the entry-level dSLR might wanna check the EOS 1000D, a 10.1 MP dSLR very similar in form with the EOS 450D. Canon Philippines has officially revealed the local pricing and availability of the new EOS R6 V, a full-frame mirrorless camera aimed at photographers and content creators. The EOS R6 V features a 32.5MP full-frame CMOS sensor paired with Canon's DIGIC X image processor. Canon also equipped the EOS R6 V with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, capable of subject tracking and face recognition for up to 100 registered people. The Canon EOS R6 V is available for pre-order through Henry's Cameras stores nationwide and during the Henry's Cameras Photo Fiesta from June 19 to 21, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
