So while I'm away in Boracay, Canon finally showcases its new dSLR yesterday -- the Canon EOS 550D (Rebel T2i and Kiss X4 Digital elsewhere) -- with an impressive 18MP sensor and Full HD 1080p video recording. As usual, the Canon 550D comes with a kit lens (EF-S 18-55mm IS lens) and will be priced at Php49,995 or lower (depending on where you get it). A new dSLR has been announced by Canon -- the Canon EOS 550D Rebel T2i / Kiss X4 Digital. Canon Philippines has officially revealed the local pricing and availability of the new EOS R6 V, a full-frame mirrorless camera aimed at photographers and content creators. The EOS R6 V features a 32.5MP full-frame CMOS sensor paired with Canon's DIGIC X image processor. Canon also equipped the EOS R6 V with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, capable of subject tracking and face recognition for up to 100 registered people. The Canon EOS R6 V is available for pre-order through Henry's Cameras stores nationwide and during the Henry's Cameras Photo Fiesta from June 19 to 21, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
