The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has extended the ‘Free ride for vaccinated APORs in LRT-2, MRT-3, and PNR’ until August 31. "This free ride program aims to encourage more APORs to get vaccinated especially now that new and more transmissible variants of COVID-19 are emerging," said DOTr Secretary Art Tugade. The Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade has announced free train rides for vaccinated commuters during the ECQ until August 20, 2021. Moreover, Tugade also mentioned that the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines(CAAP), and Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) would also offer free coffee, water, and snacks for vaccinated passengers. The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has recently announced the mandatory use of the TRAZE Contact Tracing app for all airport passengers starting November 28.
