Globe is inching closer to their 2020 goal of deploying 2 million new broadband lines. As for their coverage, Globe was able to deploy fiber broadband in 12 cities in Metro Manila and in 19 provinces nationwide over the course of two years. Globe is also looking to bolster their mobile coverage by deploying massive MIMO (multiple input, multiple output) technology. All of these expansions by the telco are focused towards providing better broadband and mobile services by 2020. So it's not a surprise that Globe Telecom has dropped its Globe Visibility Mobile Prepaid kit down to just Php3,500. Globe started offering their new prepaid and postpaid plans for Visibility back in June 23 when we first reported it here.
