Globe network builds and modernization efforts enabled it to maintain a mobile consistency score of 81.99% in the National Capital Region and 76% nationwide. According to Globe, their consistency score is at par with global benchmarks such as T-Mobile in the United States with 84.8%, Videotron in Canada with 87.4%, and Telekom in Germany with 90.1%. These results translated to a more consistent and better experience for Globe customers who are connected online and using social media platforms such as Facebook Live, Netflix and YouTube according to Globe. According to Globe, they have increased its capital expenditures for this year to PHP 76 billion to deliver on its commitment of a #1stWorldNetwork. Globe has also installed one million fiber-to-the-home lines as of end-September, constructed new cell towers, and upgraded at least 12.9K sites. Globe has emerged as the favorite telecommunications provider among Filipinos based on a recent Philippine survey conducted by an international market research firm. According to the results of The Method Research for August 2021, the poll showed that almost 4 out of 10 Filipinos, or 36.1% of the respondents chose Globe as their favorite telco. Globe led over Smart which scored 22.5%, TNT - 13.5%, PLDT - 12.6% and DITO - 4.2%.
