The Huawei Y9 (2019) was initially launched at PHP 12,990. In May 2019, its price was officially reduced to PHP 10,990.

Key specs include a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 3D curved glass design, a HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor with GPU Turbo, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera, a 13MP + 2MP dual front camera, a 4,000mAh battery, and it runs on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Both phones share the same Kirin 710 chipset. The Y9 (2019) has advantages in its larger 6.5-inch screen with 3D curved glass, a dedicated microSD card slot, a wider f/1.8 aperture on its main rear camera, and a larger 4,000mAh battery. The Nova 3i, however, offers more internal storage (128GB vs 64GB) and a higher-resolution 24MP front camera.
