Razer has officially launched their first console-style controller, the Razer Junglecat, made specifically to work with the Apple iPhone 5 and its successor, the iPhone 5S. The Razer Junglecat has all the bells and whistles that one would typically look for in a controller. However, unlike most controllers which have buttons on each end of the handset, Razer went for a slider design which, in combination with its 20mm-thin form factor, allows supported handsets to still be pocketable despite of being attached to the Junglecat. Another thing that sets the Razer Junglecat apart from the pack is the free-to-download companion app that lets users customize the controller to their liking. After over two weeks of using the iPhone 3G, I can fairly say I have become familiar with this mobile device to share some insights on how it fares as a primary mobile phone. In a way, I regard the iPhone 3G primarily as an internet device and media player that has the cute feature allowing you to make calls and send SMS. That being said, if you are a heavy SMS user, then the iPhone is not for you. However, if you are open to trying out a new interface, I'm sure you'll enjoy the intuitive touch screen of the iPhone.
