The Nikon ZR is now official as their first cinema camera developed in partnership with RED. The model combines Nikon’s autofocus and in-body stabilization with RED’s color science and video codecs, positioning it against cameras like the Canon C50 and Sony FX3 at a lower price point. Fujifilm has introduced the instax mini Evo Cinema, a new hybrid instant camera that blends photography, short-form video, and instant printing into a single creative tool. The instax mini Evo Cinema features a retro-inspired design reminiscent of classic 8mm film cameras, paired with modern conveniences such as a 1.54-inch LCD screen, selfie mirror, self-timer, integrated flash, USB-C charging, and microSD card support. The instax mini Evo Cinema hybrid instant camera is set to arrive in early February 2026, priced at $409.95 USD and $479.99 CAD. Nikon has just announced the new Coolpix P90 with a maximum optical zoom of 24x, one of the highest I've seen so far in compact cameras. Nikon did not mention how much this camera will cost once it's available to the public. Just in time for Christmas, Nikon unveils its latest high-resultion professional DSLR, the Nikon D3X -- a 24.5 megapixel camera that produces a 50MB file per shot of RAW photos.
