Nikon introduced a new entry-level dSLR, the Nikon D3100, which has the capability of recording full HD 1080p videos. The Nikon D3100 is the successor to the popular D3000 line and brings in a set of new features and upgrades. The Nikon D3100 will come with a AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR as the kit lens. The Nikon D90 is out; the Nikon D7000 is in -- this new mid-class dSLR from Nikon can do 1080p videos with a 16.2 megapixel CMOS sensor. The Nikon D7000 with initially come with this kit lens -- AF-S DX 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR (picture shown above). Nikon has just announced the new Coolpix P90 with a maximum optical zoom of 24x, one of the highest I've seen so far in compact cameras.
