OnePlus is gearing up to release a new upper-midrange smartphone, potentially named the OnePlus Ace 5V or Ace 5S, succeeding last year’s Ace 3V. A notable change is the introduction of OnePlus’ new button, which is set to replace the traditional Alert Slider. This indicates that OnePlus is weighing the benefits of faster charging against longer battery life. For reference, the OnePlus Nord 3, launched in July 2024, featured a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, and a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera.
