There are currently three major providers of Fiber Internet in the country -- PLDT, Globe Telecom, and Converge ICT. It's also worth noting that both PLDT and Globe's Fiber plans come with a landline bundled in the package. With this, Converge wins the lower price segment by offering 25Mbps and 35Mbps plans at Php1,500 and Php1,599, respectively, while Globe has the 100Mbps crown for pricing it better at Php2,899. To make things easier, we’ve put together a comprehensive comparison of the postpaid fiber internet plans offered by the major telco companies in the Philippines — namely PLDT, Globe, Sky, and Converge. For example, PLDT’s Fiber Unli Plan 2099 has a speed boost of 700 Mbps, which is faster than Globe’s GFiber Plan 1999 or Converge’s FiberX 2000 peso plan — both of which are capped at 500 Mbps. Notably, the streaming options vary by telco company: Netflix is offered by both PLDT and Converge, while Disney+ is solely available through Globe. As for PLDT and Converge, they offer Netflix bundles either in separate plans or as an “add-on” to customers’ existing internet plans. Additionally, Globe’s the only telco company that offers up to 1.5 Gbps through GFiber Plan 7499 which significantly costs less in contrast to PLDT’s Fiber Unli Plan 9499.
