Today we're putting the Redmi Note 8 against the Realme 5 and see which smartphone is really the best for you! realme has announced the GT 8 Pro today, boasting the newest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a camera system powered by RICOH GR, and a quirky ‘switch design’ feature. The flagship chip gets paired with the Hyper Vision+ AI chip that allows gaming at 2K resolution and 120 FPS, at least according to realme. Its rear cameras include a 50-megapixel Ricoh GR main camera with OIS, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, also with OIS, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera. Interestingly, the phone features a ‘switch design’ where users can either choose a square or circle camera islands with varying looks. The phone ships with Android 16-based realme UI 7.0 with an update policy of four OS upgrades and five years security patches.
