Based on our reviews and news coverage, the Realme 5i launched in the Philippines features a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720) IPS display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE octa-core processor, Adreno 610 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage. It has a quad rear camera setup (12MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP portrait + 2MP macro), an 8MP front camera, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging via micro USB, and runs ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie.

The Realme 5i was officially launched in the Philippines on January 29, 2020, and became available in stores starting February 1, 2020. It had an official local SRP of PHP 6,990 for the single configuration available here: 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

According to our comparisons, the Realme 5i and Realme 5 share many core specs like the Snapdragon 665 chipset, 6.5-inch HD+ display, and 5,000mAh battery. Key differences noted are that the Realme 5i has a different 'Sunrise Design' on the back, a lower-resolution 8MP front camera (vs. 13MP on the Realme 5), and lacks the Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection and 10W fast charging support that the Realme 5 has. The Realme 5i was also launched at a lower price point.
