It looks like Samsung’s Exynos chips could be making a return to the flagship Galaxy lineup in 2026. According to a new rumor, the upcoming Galaxy S26 series may once again be powered by Exynos at least in some markets. The Exynos 2600 is reportedly in line to power select Galaxy S26 models, a year after the Galaxy S25 series went all-in on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy due to production yield issues with the Exynos 2500. If the rumor is accurate, Europe will once again be the region where Samsung rolls out Exynos-powered Galaxy S phones, continuing a long-standing trend. Samsung’s own System LSI division reportedly lost around $400 million due to the Exynos 2500 being excluded from the Galaxy S25 lineup. The Galaxy S26 FE is operating under the code "SM-S741U." It's seen running on Android 17 here, with a probable 8GB of RAM. Based on the CPU information, it's running on the deca-core Exynos 2500 chipset - which is also the same used in the Galaxy Z Flip 7. That’s largely the story with the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
