Aside from the 105-inch Curve Ultra HD TV that Samsung unveiled yesterday, they also showcased a Bendable UHDTV, a first of its kind. This is still a prototype and a possibility that Samsung is looking into. A Samsung rep tells us that we might not see any commercial model to be out this year. Samsung Asia showcased their latest line-up of HD TVs for 2013 and the flagship model is this 85-inch Series 9 UHD TV with 4k resolution (reporting live here from Jakarta). All these new features for the 2013 Samsung Smart TV is now included in the Evolution Kit which can be easily attached to the older 2012 series to give them the same new features, including the quad-core processor. The much awaited Omnia i900 from Samsung (see specs here) was released in the Philippines yesterday. While everybody is getting frustrated with the supposed Globe iPhone 3G pricing, the Samsung Omnia will definitely be a formidable alternative to the former. The rumored new Samsung i8510 that tows in an 8-megapixel camera and a 16GB internal storage becomes official.
