As the promo names suggests, the Big UnliText and Big Call services give Smart subscribers unlimited SMS and voice calls to other Smart, Sun and Talk ‘n Text users. The promo is good for a week from the time of enrollment and would only set you back Php50 for the Big UnliText and Php100 for Big Call. For big calls, text CALL100 and send it to the same number. Smart Communications, the mobile arm of PLDT, has rolled out a new feature that lets its users make video calls directly from their phones without the need for apps like Messenger, Zoom, or WhatsApp. If you’re a Smart or TNT subscriber with an unlimited call package, you can now place high-quality video calls and the cost will already be covered by your voice subscription. The best part is, the person receiving the call does not get charged, and they don’t even need to be a Smart or TNT subscriber to answer. While many Filipinos already rely on popular apps for video calls, Smart said that ViLTE provides a better and more stable experience.
