Smart has recently announced its latest prepaid mobile data promo, the Giga Stories 99. This gives the subscribers a total of 16GB mobile data valid for one week. Available for Smart prepaid subscribers, the Smart Giga Stories 99 runs until July 31, 2020. (Smart) has been recognized for having the best mobile latency in the Philippines for Q1 to Q2 2025, based on data from Ookla, a global company that studies network performance. Surprisingly, very few people are using PLDT WeRoam -- a service which has practically been supplanted by SmartBro Mobile 3G. uMobile on the other hand, though an autonomous telco is still considered a Smart/PLDT property and their free ad-supported 3G services will certainly bump up their total numbers. I fired up several internet bandwidth meters, hooked up my Smart Bro Prepaid account and positioned my laptop to get an HSDPA signal.
