Steam removes adult games

Steam and itch.io have removed adult-rated games from their platforms following updated policies from major payment processors. Steam still allows games with adult content, but is now compliant towards the new payment regulations. The removal of certain adult games has raised concerns among some users about potential overreach. For now, most general adult games on Steam remain available. Following the success of Stellar Blade on Steam, which became available in non-PSN regions after direct developer intervention, more Sony-published games are now accessible without the need for workarounds. Additionally, Steam still blocks access to Sony games in seven countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, and Vietnam. The Steam Summer Sale kicked off last June 23, and some of the deals on games are just too good to pass up. The Steam Link app allows you to stream games from your PC directly to a 2016 or 2017 Samsung Smart TV over your wired or wireless network, without using Valve's proprietary Steam Link hardware.
