Microsoft will be pulling the plug on its support for Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.8 after the end of its 18 month lifecycle period in 2014. According to the Microsoft Product Lifecycle support webpage, Windows Phone 8 started its lifecycle on December 14, 2012 while support will end on July 8, 2014. On the other hand, Windows 7.8 started on February 9, 2013 and will end support on September 9, 2014. Furthermore, Google has also added the support of emoji voice recognition to be used for insertion in conversations but it is currently only available in English. For users in India, Meta is adding Telugu and Kannada language support, alongside English and Hindi. GCash users can now start using Google Pay even without a physical card, as the e-wallet begins rolling out support for the service across the Philippines. With the availability of Google Pay in the Philippines, a list of banks and credit card service providers have been released by Google in their official support pages.
