According to The Verge, YouTube is quietly working on a new feature that will compete with other short-form video apps. Embedded on the YouTube mobile app, the "Shorts" feature allows users to upload short videos posted by users inside the app and use the licensed music included in the YouTube Music's catalog. YouTube is rolling out a new feature that allows users to set a daily limit on how long they can scroll through Shorts. Here is how users can set their Shorts feed limit: Open the YouTube app and sign in Tap the You tab Go to Settings Click Time management which is the Dashboard icon Select Shorts feed limit Choose your preferred time limit For parents managing supervised teen accounts through Google Family Link, the limit can’t be bypassed. Aside from our social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, let's admit that we spend most of our time watching videos on YouTube. Ad-Free Experience Watching videos on YouTube can sometimes be quite annoying because of the ads. Offline Videos While YouTube allows you to download specific videos through the app to watch offline, not all videos and songs are available for download. Do note though that not all videos on YouTube’s library will be available for offline mode, and it was not clearly stated which videos will be available for offline viewing.
