Are you a child of the 90s? If your answer is yes then you can certainly relate to Microsoft’s video advert for the Internet Explorer which depicts what it’s like in the 90s.
The video shows some of the trends and technology during the glory days of Generation Y. It’s the era of the 56k modem, floppy disks, Tamagotchis, and casette tapes. It’s also the time when Trolls were just dolls and not a menace to the online community.
Microsoft was spot in the video except for the hairstyle part. I think the Keempee hairstyle was the “in” thing back then here in the Philippines. And the Pogs! It was the 90s kid’s de facto currency way before Bitcoin was cool.
