Xiaomi announces Ninebot mini, a self balancing scooter

Hugo Barra announced on Facebook a new product from Xiaomi. It’s a motorized personal transporter, much like a Segway we’ve been seeing around.

The Ninebot mini is a battery-powered self-balancing scooter made with magnesium alloy. It can reach speeds up to 16km/h and can climb 15-degree incline without hiccups. Steering is done by controlling the stick between the legs and it can do a 360-degree spin. Its weight only peaks at 12.8kg, making a compact mover that you can bring anywhere. With a single charge, it can travel up to 22 kilometers.

Xiaomi’s new toy is priced at CNY 1,999 or roughly 14,500 in Philippine Peso and is designed in collaboration with Segway.

Buti pumayag ang segway at sobrang mahal ng products nila at mawawalan sila ng sales nito
