Apple has just announced a new 4K model of its Apple TV display, bringing in new advancements in picture quality with HDR and Dolby Vision.

The Cupertino giant is powered by the new Apple TV is powered by the A10X Fusion Chip which is also seen on the iPad Pro, and touts double the performance and quadruple the graphics performance, as well as redesigned Apple TV UI and screensavers to harness the capabilities of the new resolution.

Apple has also redesigned the TV UI and added more 4K content such as news, sports, and movies from partners such as HBO, Amazon Video Prime, and other Hollywood production outfits. To add, those who have already purchased HD content will get their content upgraded to 4K at no extra charge.

Apple TV starts at USD 149 or roughly Php7,600 and will be available in the US starting September 22.
