Apple Watch Series3 now official

Apple is holding a press conference in its new Steve Jobs Theater in California, where it announced the new Series3 Watch with added cellular connectivity.

Powering the new Watch is a dual-core processor and a custom chip called W2 that lets you do more tasks while being power-efficient — Siri can now talk, you can now stream millions of songs from Apple Music. To add cellular connectivity, Apple has designed the display to receive multiple frequencies, as well as adding in an electronic SIM Chip without adding any size or weight as compared to its predecessor.

The watch is built with Apple’s updated WatchOS 4 with added functionalities for heart rate monitoring and ailment detection, as well as an added barometer.

Apple’s new Watch Series 3 will be released with new colors and bands, as well as a gray ceramic version. starting at USD399 (roughly Php20,400) while a non-cellular model is available for much less at USD329 or around Php16,800.
