In this video, we’re checking out the Honor X7b, the successor to last year’s Honor X7a, now available in the Philippines for just ₱8,999. It’s positioned as an entry-level device, but the big question is—how far can that 9K budget really take you?

We’ve got the Flowing Silver variant here, and honestly, the design is a head-turner with its holographic sheen and metallic sparkle.

But if you prefer something low-key, there are Emerald Green and Midnight Black options too.

For features, it comes with a 6.8-inch FHD+ IPS display that’s bright enough for outdoor use and even has a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 680 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM (+8GB virtual), powers the device. And yes, the 6,000mAh battery is a standout, lasting up to 1.5 days on regular use, with 35W fast charging to get you fully juiced in just over an hour.

Camera-wise, the 108MP main sensor does well for social media-ready photos, though the ultrawide could use some work. And while it’s limited to 4G connectivity, it’s still a solid device for basic smartphone needs like video streaming, casual gaming, and productivity.

Curious if this is the right budget phone for you? Dive into the video to find out!
