Google Gemini is rolling out a new feature called Personal Intelligence.

Personal Intelligence is designed to make AI image generation more tailored to each user.
With this update, Gemini can use your preferences and interests to generate images that better reflect your style. Instead of writing long prompts or uploading reference photos, users can type simple requests like ‘design my dream house’ and Gemini will automatically apply personal context.
The feature is powered by Nano Banana 2 and integrates with Google Photos. This lets Gemini use images of you, your family, or even pets as references. This means users can create more personalized visuals such as stylized images featuring people from their own photo library.
Users still have control over the results. They can refine outputs, select different reference images or check which sources were used to generate a specific image.
Google says privacy remains intact. The brand states that Gemini does not train its models directly on personal photo libraries. The feature is opt-in and can be managed through settings.
Personal Intelligence is rolling out to Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers in the U.S. Global availability is said to be expected soon.
