Google's AI chatbot Bard now available in the Philippines

Aside from a new Pixel foldable, Google is also expanding its AI chatbot ‘Bard’ access to over 180 countries including the Philippines.

Just type in bard.google.com on your browser and you can start to chat with it just like how you do prompts on ChatGPT or Bing Chat.

Bard’s interface is straightforward with a large UI for your conversation and a spacious text box where you type in your prompts.

There is also an interface where you can select different answers with different approach: either casual, formal, or creative depending on the prompt.

It is also available in light or dark mode for both mobile and desktop platforms.

Google says that they will integrate Google Lens to include images alongside texts in the users’ prompts.

Another upcoming feature is its ability to create AI generated images through Adobe Firefly.

Bard is an experimental chatbot leveraging Google’s own LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications) to enable users to collaborate with generative AI.

Currently, Bard is available in three languages: English, Japanese, and Korean. Google says that they are training Bard to speak as many languages as possible.
