Last night, Canon Philippines finally launched their new EOS dSLR line-up — the entry-level Canon EOS 1100D and the Canon EOS 600D (successor to the 550D) along with a slew of point-and-shoot cameras.

Announced back in February 7, the Canon 600D (Canon Rebel T3i elsewhere) replaces the popular 550D and now comes with a vari-angle screen (like the 60D). See full specs of the Canon 600D here.

A new entry-level dSLR was also introduced — the Canon 1100D that comes with upgraded specs.

Canon EOS 1100D – Php31,950

Aside from the two dSLRs, Canon also introduced newer versions of the Powershot, Ixus and Vixia line. The new Canon Powershot point-and-shoot cameras start at a retail price of Php3,950. See more details here.

Please enlighten me. At first hand I love the Canon brand and when it comes to photography it’s Nikon. Why did you say it’s (Nikon D3100) much more level-up than Canon 1100D?

600D at Php44,990, I believe that kit lens included. Nakita ko kasi s youtube unboxing ng Canon Rebel T3i / EOS 600D, CAD $899 at wla dalang kit lens while CAD $999 included ang 18-55 EF-SIS II kit lens.
