Calling all Apple fanboys: the Apple + AT&T iPhone is now on sale in the Philippines. All for a very low, low price of Php35,000. No 2-year contract needed. I can hook you up if you’re interested.
No kidding. This is serious. Just learned about this last week-end. Apparently, some very enterprising Filipinos bought several iPhones in the U.S. and shipped them all here. It costs $499 & $599 there so a local price of Php35,000 seems very reasonable. Even for just a glorified touch-screen iPod video, it’s still cool. I think I’m gonna pick one for myself. Anybody else?
my mom bopught one for me in the u.s.. she bought it at the apple shop for only $199. 8k here in the phils. it’s not hacked.
dont buy iphone old generation in manila.. the price is too high.. not reasonable and it is a waste of money.. better wait for 3G iphone much faster, and lot of usefulness.. but if cannot wait so be it.. let the old generation iphone sinks to a very low price.. then buy if you cannot afford globe telecom post paid plan..
Iphone will be available soon here in the philippine by Globe Telecom Philippines this year. So guys stop buying those Iphone that is been hacked. It is safer to buy Iphone at a store that is authorized by apple. Advantages are you can update your phone. you will have warranty. and its not illegal. So patience guys Iphone will arrive in the Philippines soon. and Ive heard that it will be sell here in the philippines in a slight cheaper price.

what thats too expensive if u got family and friends in usa u can just ask them to buy for u the 4 gb is $399 and the 8 gb is only 499 the unlock is 40bucks so hope u guys find the best one alright.goodluck

i agree, US configurations may not be compatible with our local networks. Im afraid you may not be able to maximize the features if some settings are illegally tampered.
hey guys ito ng tama ok….. una bukasan ang itune, pangalawa ikabit ang iphone, pangatlo sabay pindutin ang home botton at power botton hintayin lumabas sa iphone screen ang icon ng plug to itune, at sa itune makikita ang your iphone in recovery to be restore so ang gawin nyo click nyo ang restore kasabay ang alt tapos lalabas ang frame nga destop window nyo piliin ang firmware na meron kayo (1.1.3 or 1.1.4) tpos hintayin nyo na matapos ang restore ng itune and then lalabas ang error 1016 tapos bukasan ang ZIPHONE OS pag 1.1.3 ZIPHONE 2.5 kung 1.1.4 tapos click nyo ang jailbreak.unlock, tapos start mapapansin ang iphone maglalabasan ang maraming sulat hintayin matapos at un 1.1.4 na kayo yan ang tama

iPhone cant be used in the philippines without hacking. And 35,000 pesos is overpriced for an iPhone. I got a 16 gb ipod touch which is same as the price as the 8gb iPhone, but i only bought it for 48,000 yen (22,000 php) here in japan. But the cool thing about it is you can still use some of its apps with wifi. But wifi is not practical. 3g iphone is the best solution.
It wasnot released yet, but by the end of 2008, 3G iphones will come 2 japan, on a DoCoMo or Softbank Network. Situations in the philippines is horrible in Apple related products, no iTunes store, few wi-fi cafes and wireless networkings are few. I mean ive seen few average people doesnt use it, they prefer LAN, specially on commercial internet cafes. It’s very horrible. Only coffee shops have it, but coffee shops also are few, like u can only find it at malls and other busy places. Even schools doesnt offer free wifi networking. i dont know when will apple release an iphone in the phils. but itll be great if they do it sooner.
