Updates on Blog Ads, Affiliates and Sales

Listen to article

Some links and updates on local affiliates for bloggers as well as new tools and services you might want to check out.

  • If you’re interested in earning some extra money, you might want to check out the Asia Century Affiliate Network. They’re an Ortigas-based European company doing affiliate campaigns in the Philippines. The network pays a minimum of Php0.50 per ad click and up to Php100 per lead. They own the Halo-halo.ph brand and I’m sure you’ve seen those contest banner ads for some time now. You can register here to join.
  • If you want to inject banner ads into your RSS feeds, you can try the Feed Footer Plugin (download). It allows you to put up to 10 random ads into your feeds. That’s one way to maximize your affiliate revenues from Asia Century.
  • If you want to self-manage ads, you can try Google Ad Manager (though a little complicated and bulky). A more simple plugin for WordPress is Max Banner Ads (download here) which is easier to use as it allows you to rotate multiple banners in one spot.
  • If you are in the Tech, Entertainment, Auto, Business/Finance, Sports niche, you might want to checkout Direct Ad Sales from Performancing. They’ll represent your blog and find advertisers for you. You just need at least 100,000 pageviews per month to qualify.

And for those who thinks they have problems with their site/blog going down, check out “Down for Everyone or Just Me?”

hey..
is there any way to contact them? I tried to look for the email link on their site but couldn’t find one.
Anyway my review:
*Banners load slow
*Rate is not much but it’s ok.
*Their server’s down most of the time (can’t access their site)
*Members Login panel load slow.

I really hope they’d improve their speed. At the moment im planning to remove their banners until their server is stable.

I have talked to asiacentury representatives, they are friendly. Thats why I also tried their pinoy version of adsense in my blog http://animohosting.com

Asia Century Affiliate Network is great one. They are offering great deals for publishers. But there are many more advertising networks those pay more from asiacentury like: adsense, bidadvertisers. adbrite and xapads. They offer also good offers with good online support.

@bb5media, it’s only for local so you get very high CTR. My first week I was hitting 33% CTR. And I don’t think you can use those you mentioned on your RSS feeds.

Google Ad Manager is a great tool once you get a hang of it.

Asiacenturyph is really great for pinoy bloggers. Every click is a peso in the pocket, not like others that you have to convert it peso first. And the “Down for Everyone or Just Me?” is really a great tool, thanks!
