Portable OpenOffice.org is a full-featured office suite that’s compatible with Microsoft Office, Word Perfect, Lotus and other office applications (i.e. word processor, spreadsheet, presentation tool, drawing package and database). It’s easy-to-use and feature-rich, performing nearly all of the functions you’d expect in an office suite, but at no cost.
You can have it in your thumb drive to bring along anywhere - no additional or special hardware requirements, no other software requisites — you carry everything with you.
The download is about 75MB and the unzipped/installed files total to about 144MB so you need at least one of those 256MB USB drives with you.
