IT courses top Jobstreet’s 2016 Fresh Grads Salary Report

Fresh graduates of IT-related courses are in for a great headstart in their career as Jobstreet hails them as the top pay-earners in their recently-released Fresh Grads salary report.

According to data obtained by the online classifieds firm, Fresh IT graduates get an average pay of around Php22K on their first year of service in work, with an average increase of 0.3% compared to last year. These are followed by those from the Statistics, Legal, Healthcare services, and Journalism sectors.

BPOs, Call Centers, and IT-related firms still hold the most number of key positions made available for fresh millennial graduates, which accounts for almost 150K jobs, a 23% increase from last year. Telecommunication positions also surged, which now peaks at 2.7K.

May mga Engineering courses (Electronics, Computer) na kasali sa IT sector. Pero wala ang Civil, Mechanical, Electrical at iba pa.. Hmmm
