LG KC910: Touchscreen with 8MP Camera

Here’s a surprise coming out the door of LG, the touchscreen KC910 with an 8-megapixel camera. Phone makers are learning that one must have something to talk about with new products — this time 8 megapixels is the buzz term for the quarter.

The LG KC910 is similar to the earlier LG Viewty with an expansive 400×240 3-inch screen. It doesn’t have a prettier name yet, like the Secret or the Prada but I’m sure they’re thinking of one now.

It has WiFi, GPS and 3G with HSDPA speeds of up to 7.2Mbps, Bluetooth as well as support for microSDHC (8GB). The 8MP camera will have a 30fps video captuire speed at 640×480 resolution (there’s a special 120fps slow-motion mode) and an ISO that can reach to 1600. It has a digital image stabilizer and allows for manual focusing with Xenon flash and Schneider-Kreuznach lens.

You also get Dolby sound for music and DivX/XviD support for video playback. LG packed all these in a 14mm thin body.

if this model is to replace the Viewty, then i’m sure this will be more expensive than LG Viewty, which is priced at Php22K. wahhhhh how i wish i could have a high-end phone similar to this one.

its called LG KC910 also known as RENOIR,

when is it gonna be available in the Philippines?

      please notify me,

i just got sick of my new phone and just want to have a new one even though i just bought it last December’08

so if anyone has can we swap?

      your Renoir(LG KC910)= my Cookie(LG KP500) + 3000 0(incomplete)(no earphones and 2nd screen protection cause i putted it on)

NOTE: you can give me the product w/o the earphones and extra screen protector
but if you want to give it full,
i will just add cash for it like another 3000

      you can name your price

i will just think about it,
if i agree, then, we have a deal

i do meet ups only so i can be sure

I had this RENOIR since December 2008 which I bought in Singapore. The phone itself quite good but I was surprised the emoticons are not good considering this is high-end phone. Hope they can upgrade the software into animated emoticons so I can upgrade my software.

Ive seen this model in a window display already and i could say that the design is much more of a cookie successor, rather than a viewty.

bought this phone in ebay, although already used, but still a good buy for me. Upgraded my firmware from a custom one which made it so responsive. Great phone indeed!!

It’s now available for PhP21,900-25K in various shops. This really is a mighty phone.
