Canon’s new EOS line-up has just been announced – the Canon EOS 600D with an 18-megapixel sensor, full HD 1080p video recording and a built-in wireless flash control (finally!).

A new kit lens will also come with the 600D — EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II. Expected release date is in April 2011 with a possible suggested retail price of â‚¬729 (~Php43,300) for body only and â‚¬829 (~Php49,300) with kit included.

@lou, the intended competitor to the 600D won’t be the D7000, but perhaps the upcoming D5xxx (or may be not – the 600D may trump over this offering). It’s 60D vs D7000.

@Jonaflormicfren, the improvements over the 600D are not exactly “new” so to say. Ergo, it is not innovative – just something nice and a very welcome addition to the line up.

Also, unsolicited advertising is otherwise known as “spamming”. ;) :P

bat ganun kahaba haba nung kinompose kong reply d2 tapos sabi nung message pagkasubmit ko “your comment has been caught as spam something..” kainis lang ano bang klc spam guard yang nkainstall d2 sa site na to hay.
Anyway pansin ko din ang bagal na ng site na to it takes a while to load everypage. I hope the admin will seroiously consider upradang the server. I always check this site years back at oks ung mga review eh.

Sensor resolution isn’t everything unless you are going to create a billboard out of your shots or something. I am more interested in low light performance among other things and will be glad to wait for reviews. (I already had my sights set on getting a DSLR with a full frame sensor though).
