Feedburner on steroids?

In the week after Feedburner announced their Quick Stats Update, I’ve noticed a dramatic increase in the daily feed subscription in my blogs. Mine alone jumped from somewhere around 140-ish to 243 subs today which is really weird.

The graph plotted above is from Feedburner and it showed a huge increase of up to 60%. The other group blogs registered similar increase in subscriptions but not as high as this one.

The Feedburner blog explains “Bonus: The number listed in your subscriber chicklet is now time period synched to the number in the analyze tab. Marvel at the consistency!”. Still, I don’t understand the spike.
