HP Pavillion vs. Dell Inspiron: Artist Edition

Manufacturers HP and Dell are battling it out with graffiti-influenced Artist Editions of their top tier laptops. On the left hand is an HP Pavilion dv2800t and on the right side is Dell Inspiron 1525 — both unit are strikingly cool.

Dell commissioned Brooklyn-based artist Mike Ming while HP partnered with MTV to a Design Competition last year. The winner of the contest was “Asian Odyssey” by 20 year old guy named Joao Oliveira of Porto, Portugal.

Mike Ming did two designs — “Bunch O Surfers” and “Sea Sky”.

HP Pavillion

Between the two, HP gets my vote.

my vote goes to DELL inspiron,

reason, im a developer i need a good laptop that can take some abuse and last longer.

ive used both .. and trust me HP’s biggest downfall is its bad batteries that eventually die on you.. and as it gets older and used more (abused in my case :D ) its performance goes down. Dell stands strong even the batteries have outlasted the HP pavillion

even artistically the work on the dell inspiron 1525 is much more to my taste and much subtle and attractive then the in your face HP designs

    just my two cents
