Firefox is now available for Android

It took Mozilla a while to release their browser on the Android platform but it’s finally here. You can now download Firefox for Android on the Google Play Store today.

Firefox on Android brings with it native Flash support, localization support, new UI and start page, and a minimum requirement of Android 2.2 Froyo.

FF on Android looks cool, clean and noticeable fast. I also liked the implementation of multiple tabs.

To download, just search for “firefox” on Google Play.

For those who wanted to have the font size aligned to what is the original intent on the desktop website, set the font size to Tiny on the settings.

    Now the question is…

    Chrome Beta vs. Firefox. =)

the stock ICS browser on my Note still loads the fastest. however, i’m a fan of Opera’s text reflow on pinch zoom. i tried firefox last night but tipidcp looked unreadably unpleasant.
