Test Drive: Chevrolet Colorado 2017

Listen to article

Last week, General Motors hosted a regional launch of the 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer and the Chevrolet Colorado in Mactan, Cebu. This is the first time they did such a regional event here in the country so we were one of the first ones to see the new Chevrolet pick-ups and SUVs as well as test drive them.

Of the two, we had more time with the Chevrolet Colorado especially during the obstacle course made just to test the endurance/limits of the pick-up. Check out the video below:

you guys really need to invest in a gimbal or something similar to stabilize the cam during these kinds of “action” shots.
headache-inducing clip @4:59-5:15.
nice test drive though. :)

The Sony A7S MII has a built-in 5-axis stabilization already. The road was just too rough.

You do know that most of the profile shots you’ve taken are for the older Colorado Tracker Pro and not the facelifted one, right?

Yes, but after we reviewed our footage, we discovered we sorely lacked profile shots of the new models. The ones we have here are the only usable ones (the Support Car in the convoy).
