This is our 3rd installment of the Lenovo-YugaTech Give-away. The difference is that this month, we’re sending off the Lenovo IdeaPad G460 to one winner.
We’ve already done Round #1 in October and Round #2 in November with over 600 participants in all. Those who joined before are now all qualified to win the Lenovo IdeaPad G460.
Here’s the mechanics:
1) Write an entry with the title “10 Fun Things I Can Do with a new Lenovo Laptop“.
2) Post your entry in your blog, Tumblr or as a Facebook Note. Opening up a WordPress.com or BlogSpot account is pretty quick (like under 60 seconds) so that should not be a problem. You can post it in the comments section below if you don’t have anything else. Just make sure it’s readable by the public. You can even make it as a Powerpoint or MS Word and upload to Google Docs. Or use MS Paint and write it as an image to upload to Flickr or Piclyf.
3) At the end of your post, don’t forget to mention that it’s your official entry to the Lenovo-YugaTech Laptop Giveaway and include a link back to this contest page.
4) Leave a comment below with the link to your entry. Make sure to use the same email you used when you joined rounds #1 or #2 (or your Twitter handle if you joined via that channel before).
We’ll pick the best entry we liked to win the Lenovo G460. I’ll also give away 10 Globe Tattoo USB dongles to our top 10 best pick. That’s it — 11 winners in all. Short and sweet.
Send your entries starting today until midnight of December 24. There will be an awarding of the laptop at the Lenovo Office here in Makati. That could be by January after we picked the winners by end of the month. Will post my full review of the laptop this week so you’ll know what you’re winning.

First as a student with a new lenovo laptop i can save on my computer rental for school related activities.

10 Fun Things I Can Do with a new Lenovo Laptop
1. I would have a reason to wake up at 4:00AM, for it can easily be turned into a fat burning machine. Just hold it with your two hands, then up and down, up and down, one more time, twist to the left, twist to the right, up and down, up and down. (cardio exercise)
2. After that work out, time for an entertainment. I’ll probably watch my favorite 720p anime in its 14.1″ display screen.
3. And while I’m away I can just easily leave it while it download torrents of my favorite stuff. I’ll probably use 200gig of storage for that stuff I’m talking about.
4. I’ll bring it to my friends house and suck his bandwidth connection with my WiFi.
5. Since it’s Christmas, I can easily hide from unwanted people by covering my face with the Lenovo IdealPad.
6. When it comes to school related, as a graduating student, I can do my thesis with it without being bothered by my brother, since we share desktop computer.
7. When going to the computer cafe which I usually hang on.
“Sir Aaron you have wait for a while since the cafe is still full”
Sorry baby, I got my own laptop now.
8. With Lenovo IdealPad, I can start my secret blog, and post secret things about me, secretly.
9. I can check my facebook, mail, yugatech, site all I want.
10. Not to mention when you get tired with all of those fun things with your Lenovo IdealPad G460, you can simply fold it and viola it’s now a portable pillow.
The possibilities are endless, with a Lenovo IdealPad, that is. ;)

10 Fun Things I Can Do With A New Lenovo Laptop
1. First, I will tell all my friends that i won a laptop on an online contest. Make a wall photo on my facebook with me and my new lappy and expect them to like, congratualate and ENVY me!hahaha
2. Lenovo G460, which comes equipped with powerful processors, plenty of RAM, an advanced graphics card and a beautiful display, I expect to watch movies in its best and it should be more than enough to store all of my favorite movies, music, documents, and photos.
2. I can check updates on my facebook while playing fb games, tweet, tweet and tweet, and watch videos or listen to covers of my favorite youtube artists . And I can say, “So long,†to the hourglass symbol..(that’s mutitasking!!)
3. I have a partime job(homebased), so obviously I don’t have time to go outside and SOCIALIZE. But with my Lenovo laptop, I can work at my friend’s house or even at the malls!
4. During my free time, I can play online games(like DOTA and AIKA) and enjoy because it has intel’s core i3 processor plus up to 8GB DDR3 RAM. Surely, I have no troubles playing the latest computer games.

1. Replace ALL the our family’s old school photo albums with a digital one to be stored in Lenovo G460’s vast storage. It took Ondoy to convince me to go digital. I am such an old school, clinging to the familiar printed photos.
2. Indulge in video-editing. The memory and the processor can take it, so why not, chocnut! I had trouble editing homevideos in my current computer. It takes forever to load and preview, edit and preview etc. etc. So a 5-minute simple homevideo editing turns into one gigantic project that consumes so much precious time.
3. Go backpacking and stay connected. The frame is durable so there’s no need to leave it at home when I backpack to Sagada (or somewhere else)!
4. Look like a yuppie! haha! I have a laid back personality and follow a relaxed dress code.But with a Lenovo, anyone I’m doing business with will know that I mean BUSINESS, with a capital B!
5. No need for nanny! Save on money! My daughter can play games and movies in the computer. She’ll be enthralled with the hi-def graphics.
6. Make a recycled sculpture out of all my CDs. I’ll have no need for those since I can store all my favorite movies and music in MY Lenovo Laptop.
7. Relax when my siblings use the computer since the Lenovo G460 is intuitive and easy to use. i don’t have to stress myself out teaching them to operate it.
8. Lose the pregnancy fat easier. I’ll download some Shaun T’s Hip Hop Abs and play it over and over in my Lenovo.

1. Run Chromium OS on it!
2. Run Calibre and Sigil to organize and format my ebook collection to transfer to iPod and Kindle.
3. Use the 320gb hard drive to store my music collection, with songs at least 256kbps VBR each. :P
4. Hook the machine up to my TV for some movie goodness while enjoying popcorn with the dogs.
5. Play my favorite games like Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 on the highest possible settings with the highest possible volume, headphones on and lights off.
6. Finally jailbreak my recently out-of-warranty iPod!
7. Finally organize all of my old and recent photos in one hub! Well, that doesn’t really sound like something fun to do, but it’ll sure be sweet to see all my photos in one place.
8. Do my freelancing work on the go, in case I get bored of staying cooped up at home. Free coffee shop wi-fi, here I come!
9. Personalize the boring black facade with stickers from Gelaskins, Skinit or whatever design I can think of. Kitties!
10. Cat heating pad while I stand around and say “aw†at all the cuteness. Don’t forget the camera.

10 FUN WAYS TO ENJOY THE NEW LENOVO LAPTOP
all reasons should be based on its features right!!! and I’m writing it right now while Im at work.
1. Enjoy the screen resolution by indulging myself watching movies from sites that my friend recommend or just play it directly on the device until my eye pop out of my head. I can enjoy watching without popcorn. Crisp screen and sound is enough.
2. With its processor and RAM, I… I mean anybody can do a lot of things at the same time right? Everything will be manageable and we can really practice true multitasking like what I need here at work. talking to somebody while searching and creating email and solving problems and gaining stress… but with this lappy, I think I can do everything with pleasure. Work will be FUN!!!
3. Connectivity wise, I can surely connect to the net with WiFi or I can connect anything with this. my phone was one of them. Browsing will be easy since my neighbors WiFi connection can reach my room so that’s a free connection right.
4. The battery life was enough to me to take it wherever I want to during my off. Lenovo will not be a boring stuff to bring since everybody will turn their heads.
5. Manage my Kindle content on kindle for PC application to enjoy my 200+ books on my account.
6. Enjoy my social networking accounts to get connected with my friend even for just an hour or two since I don’t time to meet them up because of my work.
7. Entertain myself by playing tons of songs to unwind after 6 days of entertaining customers concern at work.
8. Create and update a blog with my wavemates at work. Upload pics and vids on our payout nightout…dayout I should say to to build and strenghten our friendship and share it to everybody.
9. Save my families pics and vids from province and treasure them with Lenovo. Its so cute… memories saved to my lappys memory. Sounds good to me.

10 fun things I can do with a new Lenovo Laptop
1. Check the news – Seriously, when was the last time you bought a newspaper to read the news? For me at least, it was a long time ago. I regularly update myself with the current news on google (news.google.com) and my daily dose of tech and entertainment from gawker blogs, engadget and of course my local favorite yugatech. ;)
2. Entertainment/Work/Play while on-the-go – I live in the south, and go to work in Makati (sometimes QC) everyday. My usual rambling while on the bus is how much time I am wasting doing, well nothing. With a Lenovo laptop, I can use up this 2-3 hours of lost time to something more productive like, finishing the code for an enterprise application… or finishing season 3 of big bang theory… hehehe
3. Load up music – I have over 100GB of songs on my PC, more than the capacity of any mp3 players I know. And everyday I’m in the mood for different songs. A Lenovo Laptop could indeed help in this situation, where I can load up songs, make playlists, anywhere, anytime.
4. Load up digital photos – Memory Full. That is one of the saddest message anyone can see in their digicams. Good thing if you have a lenovo laptop though. You can easily load up these photos in a jiffy. Probably directly upload them to facebook, or create a slideshow presentation.
5. Mobile charging station – Low bat? dead bat? A usb cable connected to your phone/media player could solve this problem. I find this especially useful because I usually forget my phone charger (I have a microUSB to USB cable in the laptop bag ;p)
6. Work/Entertain/Play Anywhere – I know this is kinda the same thing as number 2, but let me explain. I would like to specify here the great deal of portability that a Lenovo Laptop gives. You can position yourself in any way you want, anywhere (try doing that with a desktop pc). I mean you could even do it on the beach, on the couch, on the floor (get the reference? XD)
7. Be connected, anywhere you are – I just read somewhere that T-mobile would be supporting LTE-Advanced which is the real 4G reaching speeds up to 650Mbps. I’m saying, who needs cable?! Even the current technologies we have (HSPA and WiMax) are pretty sufficient for my needs. Especially with a Lenovo laptop, I can connect to the internet wherever in whatever means (ethernet or wireless).
8. Brings your work where you are – Ever heard the lines “I forgot my USB” or “the file you sent is corrupted”? You no longer have to bring your entire Desktop module to make sure you don’t forget anything. It’s all in a convenient handy-dandy Lenovo Laptop. You can give presentations, share files wherever you are.
9. Wireless Fun – Picture a huge meatball on top of a plate of spaghetti. Finished? That’s what my laptop used to look like a few years back (The meatball being the laptop and… well… you get it). But a lot of devices today are currently supporting wireless sync and tethering. And it’s a capability present in a Lenovo Laptop. You can tether your android phone to your pc, or sync your IPad tangle-free and trouble free.
10. Bragging rights – Come on, this has to be a part of anybody’s list. I mean a lenovo laptop with Core i3 processor LED Backlit display? I definitely would if I had one. ;)

1. brag about my first ever laptop by using it in the mall (even if Im just playing an offline game)

10 Fun Things I Can Do with a new Lenovo Laptop
1. Unang-una po, tiyak na “Fun” ang dulot sa akin ng pinakauna at brand new na laptop na ito(kung sakali man po). Matagal na po kasi naming pinagtiisan ang
desktop computer (AMD sempron. year 2008) namin na medyo bumabagal na. Masarap i-explore ang bagong features ng Lenovo IdeaPad G460.
2. OK na OK din po ang built-in webcam ng G450. Makakachat ko na ang mga friends at relatives while naka-webcam. Honestly, yung (a4tech) webcam po kasi na ginagamit namin eh hinihiram ko lang sa kaibigan ko dito sa Batangas.
3. Sa hard disk niyang lampas 200GB, mag-eenjoy akong magsave ng maraming files. dalawa po ang hard disk ng desktop computer namin, 20GB(dito naka-install ang OS), tapus nung magkapera ang father ko, nagpabili ako ng 80GB(dito naka-store ang files) na additional. kaso, anlalaki ng files ngayon kaya hindi ko alam kung saan ko isasaksak yung ibang files.
4. dahil sa built-in wifi ng lenovo ideapad, mas madaling magsurf sa internet at madadala ko ang laptop sa kahit saang lugar basta may wifi connection. pwde ko na ring pag-ipunan ang wireless router para sa bahay namin. (yehey!)
5. built-in lang ang video card ng pc namin kaya hindi ko magamit ng maayos sa pag-aaral ng animation (flash). ever since po kasi eh pangarap kong matuto sa animation (mag-mula po nung i-introduce ito ng pinsan ko sa akin. flash 5 pa lang po dati.), kaso mejo mahal ang hardware. kaya gamit ang laptop na ito, posibleng mapag-aralan ko na ng maayos ang line of interest ko. kasama na po ang pag-eedit ng photos.
6. gamit ang lenovo laptop, mag-eenjoy na ako sa paggamit ng ibat-ibang OS sa virtual machine. pinag-aaralan po namin ito sa college kaso nung itry ko sa PC ko eh hindi ganun ka-sarap gamitin. maliit lang kasi ang memory tapos mag-se-share pa yung guest OS. kaya nauuwi sa pagha-hang or “unable to run OS”. Haaay.
7. pwede rin akong manood ng movies kahit nasaan. kahit yata nasa byahe eh pwede rin manood. rerenta lang ng dvd or vcd, or download ng movie, pwede ko nang i-play at mapanood kahit nasa labas ako ng bahay. as long as may charge ang battery.
8. ma-eenjoy ko rin ang pakikinig ng music. hindi ko na kailangan ng usb sound adapter. bumili ako ng sound adapter sa cdr-king dahil nagkaproblema ang built-in sound card ko. hustle talaga, kasi yung speaker or earphone ay isasaksak ko pa sa cdr-king usb adapter tapus isasaksak pa sa usb port. kaya enjoy talaga na hindi ko na kailangang gumamit ng third party hardware.
9. Fun din ang dulot kapag nakakapaglaro na ako ng mga games na hindi ko nalalaro dati. pwde ko na rin lagyan ng check ang ‘enable 3d acceleration’ kasi powerful ang video card niya. also, hindi ko na maririnig ang ugong ng CPU fan kapag ginagamit.
10. Masaya lalo ang dulot kapag naise-share ko sa pamilya ko ang saya na naidulot sa akin ng laptop. hindi na sila gagastos ng extra para bumili ng bago at talagang malaking tulong ito sa kanila. kaya sana po mapagbigyan niyo ako. tatanawin ko po iyong isang malaking utang na loob.

10 Fun Things I Can Do with a new Lenovo Laptop
1. I can run multiple programs like Internet Explorer in multi-tab browsing, Microsoft Excel, Windows Media Player and even burn DVD’s simultaneously because the new Lenovo G460 laptops are powered with Intel’s new Core i3 and Core i5 processors and supports up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, so it doesn’t lag and it increases my work productivity.
2. And speaking of productivity, I can spell fun while working because the new Lenovo G460 laptops have 5400-RPM hard drives that are available in 250GB, 320GB, or 500GB. Which means I can store approximately 60,000 mp3 songs or more.
3. And when there is fun, there is interactivity, The TouchPad of a new Lenovo G460 supports multi-touch scrolling and zooming, so I could use without a mouse while zooming and scrolling Google or Bing maps to find the nearest pizza store in town so that I could order pizza when I get hungry while working.
4. And while eating pizza, I can entertain myself by watching video clips from Youtube without experiencing internet connection problems because the new Lenovo G460 is equipped with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, you can even connect to the internet using the ethernet connection or by using 3G/4G mobile broadband. Now that’s some awesome options!
5. Whats more awesome is the 3 usb ports in the new Lenovo G460, 1 port is eSata which is really great because I can use a 500GB eSATA External Hard Drive to copy or transfer important large files faster.

10 Fun Things I Can Do with a new Lenovo Laptop
1.1st i will share the laptop and educate the children around our village once a week.
2.I will help my Cousins in doing research.
3.It will make my life easy to connect to any website that i loved like yugatech.
4.I will save my files like family pictures and videos for future use.
6.I will play games for the 1st time in a loptop.
7.I will enjoy editing and making videos with tha new icore processor
8. For the first time i will enjoy boasting my self that i have already my 1st new laptop.
9.I will enjoy watching movies with my brothers and sisters
10. For the first time i will teach my Grandma how to use the computer,she gave me everting that a mother and a father can give to me and i think imparting my knowledge to her is just the right thing to do.
I will love this laptop for the rest of my life,believe it or not this is my 1st ever laptop if i will win.
