Realme C3
The Realme C3 looks to be a decent upgrade from the C2. It’s got a sizable and bright display, a rather new entry-level gaming chipset, a decent battery life, and a pretty nice interface. Users might be disappointed in the lack of Nightscape and the device’s micro USB port. Still, for a price tag of PHP 5,990, the C3 is an impressively competent smartphone. It’s worth considering whether you’re switching from the C2 or just looking for a dependable entry-level device.
Huawei Nova 7i
Huawei has brought its mid-range Nova to the next level with the Nova 7i. It has a beautiful display, excellent performance, good cameras, and a large battery with impressive charging tech. The best part is that it’s priced at just PHP 13,990, making it one of the best-performing Android smartphones under PHP 15K for 2020.
HP Elite Dragonfly
The HP Elite Dragonfly, considering other laptops in the market available right now, is hard to recommend. While I thoroughly enjoy the aesthetic, feel, display, and battery life, there are better options. For a starting price of PHP 81,440, other laptops, such as the HP Spectre 360 (2020), offers a lot more value for less money. It has a 4K AMOLED panel, the latest 10th Generation Intel processor, and the same convertible functionality while adding only 300grams to its weight.
Samsung Galaxy S20
The Samsung Galaxy S20 has the right amount of exceptional features you can find in a flagship. It sure doesn’t go over the top with 5G and 100x zoom, but we consider it as the balanced choice even if the specs were toned down in some aspects. For PHP 49,990, you get the same beastly performance found in the S20+ and Ultra, the same quality of photos and videos, and of course, the same outstanding display.
Samsung Galaxy S20+
The market for premium flagship devices is a small one since not a lot of folks can afford the hefty price tag they fetch for. Factor in the lack of 5G support and minimal performance gains, the Galaxy S20+ may not seem like a worthy upgrade if you’re already rocking last year’s flagship devices.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has to prove a lot to justify its ultra-high price tag of PHP69,990 (12GB + 128GB). For PHP14,000 more than the S20+, you’re essentially getting a bigger screen, bigger battery, faster charging, a new set of cameras, and the vague possibility of 5G (here in the Philippines at least).
