The USB Type-C port is actually old news. We reported it back in late 2013 when it was first announced but people started paying more attention to it when Apple used the technology on their new Macbook. Apple is not the only company that’s using it though. If you want to know what other devices utilizes the new USB Type-C then read on.
READ: What is USB Type-C and why it matters?
Announced in November 2014, Nokia’s first Android tablet, the N1, is one of the first consumer devices to take advantage of the reversible USB Type-C. However, it’s using the older and less powerful USB 2.0 and not the new USB 3.1 standard.
This monster of a phone made an appearance earlier this month. It’s main feature is the use of dual batteries (one sealed + one removable) which sums up to a capacity of 6000mAh. But it’s other notable feature is its implementation of the USB 3.1 Type-C.
Probably the biggest culprit to why we are paying attention to the new USB interface. The new Macbook is a thing of beauty and uses the new USB 3.1 Type-C interface. However, it received a lot of flak for having only one port.
Google Chromebook Pixel (2015)
Shortly after the announcement of the new Macbook, Google announced the new Chromebook Pixel. In comparison, the new Chromebook boasts two USB 3.1 Type C ports instead of just one.
For now, we can only name four devices that uses USB Type-C but we can surely expect to see more devices sporting the new interface in the near future.

Now i like this article better, and informative to me since there is a comparison between type-c implementation in different devices. Ou nga no usb 2.0 nga lang yung sa nokia n1, sayang. About sa 1 port decision ng apple it really sounds stupid but knowing apple there could be a reason behind that.

For those people thinking that apple is just riding on the US type-C technology, you might be totally wrong. Apple may have invented USB type-C.

Yeah, right.
Apple did not invent USB type-C. USB Implementers Forum did. Apple’s lightning connector is an inspiration of USB-IF in creating the USB type-C connector.
