Facebook has introduced three new features to boost its user’s Messenger experience.
Facebook introduces three new themes available in Messenger and Instagram. The new chat themes include. Olivia Rodrigo, a theme that helps its fans celebrate the launch of Olivia’s new album. World Oceans Day, which promotes the sustainability and importance of keeping our oceans clean for future generations, and F9, which celebrates the Fast & Furious Saga’s 20th anniversary.
The Quick Reply Bar is introduced in Messenger to increase efficiency according to Facebook. This was created to make conversations smoother when a photo or video has been shared. To use this feature, just tap on the photo or video and send a response through the quick reply bar at the bottom of the screen. Swipe up to exit the full-screen media viewer and head back to your main chat thread.
Lastly, Facebook introduces QR codes and payment links. Which is used when users want to send or request money with FaceBook Pay, even if they are not connected to Facebook. To access your personal QR code and payment link, visit your Messenger settings and tap “Facebook Pay.” From there, simply share the payment link or scan the code to send or request money. Note that this feature is currently available to US Messenger users.
