Listen to article

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) have launched the NBI eClearance service on the eGovPH Super App, allowing eligible users to renew their NBI Clearance online.

Through the new service, verified users can apply for an NBI Clearance renewal without visiting an office for the application process. They can also access a digital copy of their renewed clearance and view their latest issued NBI Clearance directly within the app.

The standard NBI Clearance fee remains PHP 130. Applicants who choose to have their renewed clearance delivered to their address will need to pay an additional delivery fee, which depends on their location, along with a PHP 30 convenience fee.

Those who prefer to collect their renewed NBI Clearance from any NBI Clearance Center will not be charged a delivery fee. However, the PHP 30 convenience fee still applies, bringing the total amount to PHP 160, including the clearance fee.

The eGovPH Super App also supports several payment methods for NBI eClearance transactions. Users can pay through over-the-counter payment centers, online banking, cash payments, ECPay, 7-Eleven, Visa, Mastercard, GCash, Maya, ShopeePay, and Dragonpay.

After completing the payment, applicants are advised to save their reference number. It will be used to track the status of their renewal and verify their NBI eClearance when needed.
