Mac OS X Mavericks without added cost? Does it mean we can upgrade old MacbookAir free?

Luckily I didn’t upgrade to mountain lion.

Mavericks is now free. Try to download the update on the App Store. To see if your MacBook Air is compatible, try going to the system requirements page.

Hi bern,

OS X Mavericks is now absolutely free, even if your OS X is in SNOW LEOPARD. Just launch the software update. Compare that to those licensed Windows XP/Vista users, trying to upgrade for licensed Windows 8. Licensed Win8 costs thousands of pesos.

whoa! no bit of love for the non retina versions?

the new iterations are great except for the SSD storage. ang mahal maxado ng higher storage capacities kaya i prefer sana yung non-SSD.

will they finally remove it? i mean the non retina?
