get a lincense copy of vista. if you don’t want to pay a lincense copy then you can opt to linux. be fair man!

^ it is not like reformatting. it’s just a compilation of hotfixes, like stuff they missed out when they first released vista. still, it’s best to do a backup of important docs before installing SP2.

Service Pack is free to download. Check first if it will not conflict on your system.

classic microsoft act. when vista was released, they released xp sp3 too. now that win7 is on the way to mainstream, they’re releasing visat sp2?

I have it but I haven’t really noticed any significant performance improvements yet. I don’t seem to have the problem with my animations turning off anymore though
