Redmi Turbo 5 Max confirmed to launch this month

Redmi has officially confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 5 series will debut later this month in China, introducing a new model called the Redmi Turbo 5 Max.

Based on early teasers, the Turbo 5 Max is positioned as a more powerful and premium option in the lineup, focusing on stronger performance, better battery life, and an improved overall build. One teaser even shows the word “Max” reflecting as “WIN,” hinting at Redmi’s confidence in its competitiveness. Leaks suggest the Turbo 5 series may feature metal frames, large flat displays, and next-generation MediaTek chipsets. The Turbo 5 Max is expected to run on the Dimensity 8500, while a higher-end Pro Max variant could use the upcoming Dimensity 9500e.

Outside China, these phones are rumored to launch as part of the POCO X8 series. The brand also revealed that the phone will start at CNY 2,500 ( PHP 21,112.13 ), placing it firmly in the upper mid-range performance segment. There are no details and reports for its local availability yet.
