Cambodia’s Verify digital verification platform has been adopted by the Philippine government for use in its national digital identity system, benefiting more than 90 million citizens.

The announcement was made by Cambodia’s Minister of Post and Telecommunications Chea Vandeth during the Digital Government Forum 2025. Vandeth stated that the platform is now being recognized and applied by countries in the region.
Philippine officials confirmed that the Verify platform’s architecture has been deployed in the country’s digital ID system.
In Cambodia, verify.gov.kh is currently used by 16 ministries and institutions as well as 31 educational establishments, with more than four million documents verified to date.
The platform uses QR codes supported by blockchain technology to enhance security and eliminate the need for physical document authentication.
It aims to reduce document forgery, improve accessibility, and support digital transformation.
