A Nokia 3310 homage is coming to MWC

Listen to article

Apart from bringing new Nokia handsets to the international market, HMD Global is also planning on releasing a classic phone.

The Nokia 3310 will resurface in all its glory. It’ll not be the most powerful phone (it’s not even a smartphone) around but it’s an exciting handset to use again. We can expect a modern version of the feature to be unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress.

Not many details have been announced but pricing-wise, it’ll go for just €59 or above Php3k only.

Quite pricey for a very basic phone. You can now buy a budget smartphone for 3K nowadays.
Hope they can add radio and 3.5mm jack to it.

I hope Sony does something similar and re-release the W980i flip phone. I’d love to get my hands on that beauty again.
