Acer Chromebook Tab 10 now official, first Chrome OS tablet

Acer and Google officially announced the Chromebook Tab 10, making it the first tablet to run solely on Chrome OS.

The Chromebook 10 is the first education tablet made for Chrome OS, and gives schools the easy management and shareability of Chromebook laptops. It sports a 9.7-inch QXGA IPS touch display with a resolution of 2048 × 1536 which equates to 264ppi. Powering it is an OP1 processor (which is the same on found in Samsung Chromebook Plus), 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage (expandable via microSD), and 34 Wh cell battery.

As for its imaging, it comes witha  5MP rear camera, and a 2MP front camera. Connectivity features include WiFi 802.11ac, USB-C port, and Bluetooth 4.1 It also comes with a stylus.

The Chromebook Tab 10 will be available in the US in April for USD329 (~Php17,182.19). It will also be available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in May.
