Google Nexus One vs. HTC Touch HD2

Let’s take a quick poll and let’s just based all that on the looks for the meantime. We got on our hands the Google Nexus One and the HTC Touch HD2. Two gorgeous smartphones but which one draws the a second look?

Both devices are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1GHz processor. Really the main difference between the two is Windows Mobile 6.5 and Android OS 2.1 (the HTC HD2 is ready for WinMo 7.0) but it’s fairly safe to say that WinMo fans and Android fans are divided in the middle (so, try to write off the OS for a moment here).

So I ask you — if looks could kill, which of the two will slice you like a samurai?

We’re not going to do a proper poll anymore, just hit the comment button below.

I own a Nexus One, and have have seen HD2.

    Nexus One > HD2.

Both in the design and software/os category.

I suppose I like the Nexus better with its longer battery life. Most windows mobile phones such as the HTC tends to be power hungry and thus you cannot use them for longer periods without bringing the charger with you.

Go for the NexusOne. WinMo is dying.

IPhone 3GS – get it after June so you get the latest one being released this year.

I used bpi CC to buy my nexus one. Connected with vpn in US. Use proxy as posted by Abe.

Google Nexus One is also made by HTC also. Winmo or Android then? I really haven’t tried Android. Had several Winmo base phones in the past. Worked well for me but generally ignored by consumers. I like the physical look of nexus though.

HTC’s WinMO. All the hype in Nexus One, too many glitches in the software and 3G connection. Many practical use for Windows Mobile.

Great to drop by your blog and saw that Globe has no iPhone 3Gs in stock. I’ve been wanting to buy that since last Monday but something has been keeping my hands away from it.

Anyway, are there easier ways to buy the nexus one without going through the creating of a US I.P.? Can local credit cards like cbank be used to purchase the nexus one and have it delivered to US address and be shipped here in the Phil? Thanks in advance.

I would go for hd2. Although it’s boxy, it looks very different from the shape of the usual touch screen phones available in the market.
